  15.      _f_i_t_i_m_g uniformly scales a picture to a specific size.  This is
  16.      accomplished by scaling the image to be smaller than the specified size,
  17.      and surrounding it by a white border as needed to make the final image
  18.      exactly xsize by ysize pixels.  The aspect ratio of the source image is
  19.      preserved.  This is useful for making an array of images using
  20.      "assemble".
